Geoff Collier opens Chelsea Store

New exclusive store launching on Fulham Road, London

Geoff Collier is launching its first showroom in London on the Fulham Road in August 09. If you would like to benotifed when the store opens please email us. The premises which is set in a prime location and situated amongst other leading high end home retailers, is currently undergoing a total refit to accommodate their exclusive bespoke brass products. With a minimalist theme, the shop is aimed at buyers in the luxury goods market who like to acquire bespoke items which have been specially made for them. Geoff Collier bespoke brassware is hand-made in the British foundry based in Eastbourne, and with over 16 decorative finishes available to give a personal touch to any item, the customer can select whether they prefer and an aged look to fit their interior by opting for an antique bronze, copper, brass, silver or gilt look; or for a contemporary setting a chrome or nickel finish on a period piece can stand out as a modern classic. To accompany the bespoke brass products are also custom-made light shades which will be available in a variety of specialist silks which have been colour matched to complement the decorative metal finishes.

Geoff Collier Collections is rapidly adding to its period lighting collection and plans to showcase the launch of each new product in the shop window display keeping a fresh circulation of objects to the showroom as well as the favoured classics. Customers and existing clients will be able to order from the Chelsea shop or visit the foundry in Eastbourne where they can see the artisans work in progress. Recent expansion has also seen the company procure over a hundred years worth of important lighting patterns from a leading British lighting company spanning from the 1840’s upwards consisting of more than five thousand original drawings and ten tons of brass patterns, all of which are considered to hold significant heritage importance and were originally going to be archived by the V&A Museum before being purchased by Geoff Collier. Items from this collection have already gone into production and drawings are to be archived at the Eastbourne Foundry and available to view online in the London office, enabling a service whereby the client can browse through lighting categories and select a chosen design to be produced specifically for them.
